All over social media I’ve been seeing all the perfect little homes full of Christmas decor and its not even Thanksgiving yet! Gah! Seeing everything though, does get me thinking about Christmas and one of the areas I totally have totally been slacking in is stocking stuffers.

DIY Last Minute Minnie Mouse Costume

If you’re anything like me you’ve got way too much going on to think long and hard about your kiddos’ Halloween costumes but of course you still want them to be cute and something they’ll love.  Today Emily helped me make her Minnie Mouse costume from pieces we already had at home, #winning!  I love when I can get double duty out of our pieces so these types of costumes are my favorite!

Capsule Wardrobe: Toddler Fall Round Up

Fall is almost here!  I absolutely love everything Fall has to offer in the Midwest from the apple orchards and pumpkin patches to the obligatory family photo sessions, movies on the lawn, and oh-so-many festivals!  I wanted to share some perfect Fall/Winter clothing for toddlers that falls into the capsule wardrobe realm, which we all know I'm all about that of course.

Quality Time With A Three Year Old

This past year has been an interesting one for us.  Emily is three and a half now and basically runs the show.  She's so independent and strong willed.  She's got a huge imagination and a mind of her own, which I adore.  Sometimes she'll want to cuddle up and relax but most of the time she's non-stop, wanting to go go go.
