I was asked recently why I never share photos of the kiddos in their rooms and I DO actually it just might not be obvious. I’ve been asked to share the boy’s room ever since I mentioned it’s the most minimalist in our house so here we go!
I have a love/hate relationship with the thought of being intentional with everything I do. I am still learning and sometimes I just want a quick way to do something without having to research it but then I end up using things I never wanted to use. I’m talking about products with fragrance in them or even some medications that are over-the-counter that I just now am learning have other options.
Let me start off by saying that I am in no way an expert on intentional living and will never claim to be one! Everything I’m listing in this post I am doing right now too so you’re not alone. I heard about “intentional living” last year and have been wanting to feel that nudge telling me to do it. I’ll admit that I have been so laid back with how I approach life, raising kids
Yep, I said it. I have one magical product that really does do it all. It’s something called Thieves and I love it. I have recently been discovering all the items in our house that have the word fragrance in it and I’m shocked. Almost every single thing, even it it’s marketed and labeled as natural, has fragrance in it.
There I said it. After over four years of searching high and low, comparing models and features for the price and learning the ins and outs of all things stroller related we have our perfect stroller. The Diono Quantum 2. I’m not kidding when it’s perfect and believe me, I’m telling you why!
There are so many things we face each and everyday that can try their hardest to bring us down, right? I’m talking about social media, all the perfect bodies and lifestyles people show us whore trying to make money off of our insecurities.
Okay, well not an actual new house but the insides will surely be different! I’ve been really researching the word “fragrance” in the products we have at home and use every single day and I've been shocked to be honest. How, in my 33 years on this planet, have I not heard about all the disgusting and toxic things that can be in our products that are all hidden in the word fragrance?
So the trendy thing for gifts for Christmas this year and for birthdays and such seems to be these things called “experience gifts”. What are these anyway? Basically it’s the gift of doing something not only receiving a material object. I love the idea of experience gifts not just for Christmas but for any occasion!
