This year after hearing so much about it last year, we are starting a new tradition of gifting only four gifts to our kiddos for Christmas, something you want, wear, need, and read. I don’t want our kiddos growing up thinking Christmas is only about the gifts and not really learning and remembering why we even celebrate this day. With Emily being four and a half years old already, I feel like if we were to start this any later, it would be too late so we’re super excited to start this year!
I’ve broken down our gift guide into those same four categories; want, wear, need, read and I hope you find something amazing for you, your spouse, your little one, or someone you love!
I have a couple of these tassel keychains and they are so adorable and can be changed up easily and matched with so many kinds of bags and outfits!
This is a hop local to Columbus, Ohio and they have so many amazing candle and room spray options and they all smell so so good! I can’t wait to gift some of these babies this year!
If you’ve never had a Cuddle Monster, you have got to check these out! They’re so soft and cute and cuddly (hints the name!) and our kiddos love them! These are some little guys we will keep forever!
Our kiddos are literally obsessed with these tiles. They play and build all the time with them and even us parents love them too. They’re just really fun!
We are huge lovers of ZDough and how fun it is. I love knowing that it’s made with household ingredients that are safe for our little kiddos and it smells so good, too!
How awesome would this be as a gift for a couple! Cooking lessons are an awesome way to actually learn a skill and bond with your spouse!
My kiddos have four of these dolls and they love them so much, especially the lambs! I love this company, too, because they give back! 1 doll=10 meals!
Anytime I can go to Ulta and pick out some quality makeup I know that I’m just in Heaven and love being able to pamper myself every now and again, so why not give that as a gift!?
I love wireless and wire free headphone and could never really get on board with the Apple Airbuds so I’ve linked my favorite wire free set!
For me, this is for the husband, It’s not like we have a ton of time to even play video games but when we do, it’s nice to have something new!
Tickets To A Sporting Event
I love this idea for guys or girls! I know that I’d love to go hang out with Scott and surprise him with tickets to his favorite Purdue team!
Movie or Concert Tickets
Movie tickets are a great option for anyone really, even toddlers! Emily loves being able to pay for herself when we do anything so this would go over great!
These bags are legitimately something I use every single day. I used to use them solely as a diaper bag but now they come with me to church, on Target trips, to the grandparents’ houses, just everywhere!
I have loved Rivet Kids for so long! I love so many of their designs and we’ve worn their tees forever but one I love most, and especially for the world we live in right now, is their Good Human Tee. We are always wearing it and it’s so soft!
These are some of the most comfortable house shoes I have ever had! I love that they have soles that allow you to go outside too. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve dropped Emily off at school wearing these!
I’m a hat fiend and love them so so much! A new hat is the perfect way for me to add a teensy bot of style to my momiform!
There are so many options for mittens out there these days. I remember when there was one kind, different colors and that’s it! Not anymore. I linked an awesome pair that allows your fingers to be freed up if needed and are super warm!
Last year my parents gifted me a quality, super soft bath robe and at first I was like-what!? I was confused because who really needs a bathrobe if you’re at your own home with 20 towels, but let me be the first to tell you…Bath robes are legit! Mine is so comfy and I use it after a shower but have also worn it over jammies or just to keep warmer in our house!
My husband wears a tie and tie clip every single day to work so this is a no brainer to me!
We all do it… make the resolution to get healthier the next year and this is an awesome and thoughtful option for anyone health minded!
I love my Apple Watch and use it daily. It’s just so convenient and allows me to reply to text messages or emails without always having my phone by my side which is something I love when I’m home with my kiddos.
Every kiddo needs blankets, right? There are so many options out there but one brand I’ve come to really love is Max + Moose! Their blankets are super soft and stretchy and big! Our kiddos love them so much and hardly give them up to be washed!
I don’t know about you but I love me some new sheets! This is an easy gift to give between spouses I think, since we both need to agree on the fabric and print!
Mugs are an easy gift to give that can also be filled up with cool small things. I love this idea for teachers, too!
There was one year where, I’m not kidding you, every single person who gifted me something gave me body wash. We made a joke of it that maybe I just really stunk (of course that wasn’t the case) but body wash is an awesome need gift that keeps giving throughout the year!
Yep, I said it. I’ve never claimed to be a crunchy mom and I don’t think you have to be one in order to use essential oils. We have only used a few really throughout our parenthood journey. I love Young Living and their Copaiba oil helped us so much during Brody’s teething and we still use Lavender nightly for our kiddos.
Personally, I would love to be gifted a gym membership! This is something that I want to do for myself but that I can’t make that final commitment to doing but if someone else gifted it to me, I might feel mire inclined to go.
We love giving ideas to our family who really want to get our kiddos something for Christmas. We are so over having a huge amount of toys taking up space that the kids don’t even actually play with so we’ve started asking for experiences. Swim classes have been so beneficial to us and are the perfect addition to any kiddo’s week activities!
These gorgeous blocks are an amazing and fun way to get your kiddos working on their coordination skills and critical thinking! Our kiddos haven’t wanted to leave them alone!
This is a no brainer. Everyone can use socks. My husband literally asks for this every single year.
For the kiddos who are potty training and growing like ours, I’m always replacing undies and with some of the super cute designs they have out now it’s also a fun little gift to open for them.
I know these are a bit pricy but oh my goodness I can’t live without mine. These toothbrushes clean like nothing I’ve ever tried or had before and are so easily cleaned!
This is something my husband loves getting every year! You can save a lot of money by purchasing around the holidays and getting in on the specials offered and it’s a gift that keeps giving all year!
Oh this is my new love. I am NOT a cooker or baker in any form of the word but with this, I know I can have dinner ready within about 10-30 minutes. This is a game changer!
I am more of a physical book reader but the Kindle is a great choice for people who read a ton or just like to not have to carry around a heavy book all the time! If I’m going to take the time to sit and read, which I don’t do, I’m going to need paper though, just me!
Books are always a goof idea for stockings or under-the-tree gifts. Toddlers love them, adults love them, they last and last, too, which is something that can be passed down which I love.
I love this idea for kiddos. We have used these services before and it’s so fun to see their little faces light up each month when they get a package in the mail. It’s another gift that keeps giving all year!
I have been so into our Instant Pot so cook books for that would be amazing to have on my end. Cook books of any kind are always something fun to gift other people!
This is more for my husband seeing as how I’ve never opened a comic book in my life and still don’t want to, haha. Still an awesome idea though!
This is where it’s at for me! I have never been a big reader but when I discovered audio books it was a game changer! I love being able to pop my book on in the car, airplane, grocery store, just where ever!
