Emily is at the age where she really likes to pretend play. I just love seeing her imagination at work, it's seriously the sweetest thing. I asked her if she wanted to have a tea party and of course she said yes. I love allowing her to "learn by doing" and this was no different. She chose what plates, bowls, cups, silverware, and what food to have our tea party with. I told her it was supposed to be with pretend food but she had her own plans for that!
Brody is getting to the age now where he'll start using bowls and plates and such, so I've been on the hunt for some super cute pieces to replace all our mismatched and uncoordinated things (I blame my ocd!). If you know me at all then you know where to find me if I'm ever away from my house, Target, duh. When I came across these adorable sets I knew they'd be mine, haha.
I've said it before but I can't reiterate enough that quality time with you is all the kiddos want. I'm so excited that I was able to have this sweet time creating our tea party at home with things we already have, not having to spend any additional money, to make sweet memories for both me and Emily. It's not the amount of money you spend that they'll remember, it's the amount of time you spend.
Brody loves playing with these sets as well...clearly!
