So recently I have been wanting to branch out and try new clothes that I normally wouldn’t wear. I have started to accept that no one who matters is going to be judging my mom-bod and to wear what I like and go through life worrying about other things!
Sooooooooo… I have always loved the way flares look on people. There’s something so fun about them and when I see people wearing them I definitely feel like they took time choosing those. I wanted to try some! So I did and here’s what happened.
The world did not end. No one pointed out my mom-pouch. Everyone was complimenting my outfit. Y'all … it was so fun! I have loved dressing my kiddos in cute things and finally have the confidence to walk out of the house wearing something I would totally think my body type could never wear. It’s sort of liberating! It’s like I’m letting the world know I care about myself and am proud of who I am.
It’s a known fact that I love my hats. I have a few but generally have been sticking to two different ones summer and paired them with these outfits. The outfit up top is my favorite and includes my most-loved shirt OF ALL TIME. I love the flowiness of the top with all the lace details and I feel like ti adds a lot of femininity to the jeans!
Second outfit I paired with some glasses and a different but similar top. This top is made of gauze and is really lightweight and breathable which is why I tend to still wear it in the summer! I normally hate tucking in tops but these jeans are magical and make everything better.
Third outfit was one I just threw on to see if I would like it or not. Turns out I do! I like tucking shirts into these jeans but for a more relaxed look I love this flowy top! the neckline is a low scoop so I definitely wouldn’t wear thins top with my hair up…just too much skin for me!
Fourth outfit, I paired the jeans and hat with a scrappy tank top made of a flowy polyester. It’s double lined so the perfect top to not have to wear a tank top under. I love this look for a date night or night out with girlfriends!
