So with Emily just turning three and Brody just turning ONE this week, it finally seems like they are learning to love each other and get along better. Thank...goodness. Don't get me wrong, Brody has ALWAYS been into everything about his sister but Emily, not so much. I know it's totally normal, especially for their age difference, for Emily to not want to have anything to do with him sometimes.
Recently though, Emily gets excited when Brody wakes up in the morning, she wants to play with him! She does the same thing when Brody comes home from Grandma's house. It's the sweetest thing ever to see my babies playing together. I'm convinced it was our Florida vacation that helped them learn to get along. They were all each other had besides us adults and everyone knows adults are the MOST boring! Haha.
I've been working on decluttering our home and LIFE! I'm in the middle of building capsule wardrobes for our family, I'll post about that later!, I have pretty much stashed every single toy away, and I'm trying to learn to not rely on technology so much to entertain our kiddos. Yeah yeah yeah, I know it's easier to sit on the couch on my phone and Instagram for hours while movies play over and over but that's not what I want my babies' childhood memories to be about. Trust me, I am in no way someone to judge anyone else's parenting choices and this is just what I want to to do mine this summer!
Anyway, here we have some super sweet photos of us "looking for cows", eating sticks, and playing with pops! Just one of our many summer nights out of the house!
Emily's dress is from last year's Gap collection, not sure I can ever get rid of it. It's a size 18-24 but man, she's so cute in it! You can shop Brody's romper here!
